Its Time for Another Year of Fantasy Football (2010 Edition)
I know... It seems early.. But Football training camp is upon us, and that means that it's almost that time... Football season. As some of you know the Empire has a Fantasy Football league. We are always looking for new Emps who would like to join us. You get to compete against people such as the Relentless and BinkDeBook. How can you not want to join and defeat these people? :). And we have a huge trophy that is passed around to the winners. All for a small nominal software maintenance fee.

I, for one, am looking forward to another good year of Fantasy Football, and its been way to long since I had that Trophy in my house... and I miss it! :)

Dae Wins the 2009 Empire Cup!
A big Congrat for Dae, winner of the 2009 Empire cup (The Tarnum). It was a turbulent season with the loss of one of our members. The records were close from day one among everyone, and most everyone had a chance to make the playoff near the end. Dae, who lost last year in the championship, made it back to the big game, and won it handily this year! So everyone wish him a big congrat!
If you are interested in challenging our past and present champs, please submit early to the Empire Football league forums and get in on the fun next season. It's never too early to start thinking about next year!

Haewin Wins the 2008 Empire Cup!
A big HOORAY for Haewin, winner of the 2008 Empire cup. After a season of lurking near the top, he won handily in the championship game by more than a hundred points, sealing his victory. Tarnum Wins 2007-2008 Empire Fantasy Football League!
Grats to Tarnum on a championship year that mirrored the real Superbowl champs in many ways. A slow start, a gradual build-up during the course of the regular season, stunning playoff wins in upsets against higher seeded opponents and of course his team saved their best game for the championship!
New owners will once again be welcomed to join our expanding league for next season, but getting the Empire Cup free from Tarnum's grip will be no small task. Anyone interested in joining the league should contact Relentless or Binkdebook to be added in advance of next year's fantasy draft.
Congrats to Tarnum and all of his players!

Darkwind Wins the 2006 Empire Cup!
A hearty congratulations to Darkwind, the 2006 champion of our Empire Fantasy Football League and second winner of the Empire Cup.
His team peaked at exactly the right time and went on a tear throughout the playoffs, not only winning each matchup but utterly destroying his opponents.
He has now received the Empire Cup trophy and photos should be available in the Gallery soon. If you have any interest in Fantasy Football and want to compete in 2007 please sign up in the Empire League forum for our supplemental draft. There are big advantages to signing up early.
Of course if you are affraid of the mighty Darkwind and his championship team you should probably just stick to lesser leagues that do not have Empire members owning teams in them.

Binkdebook wins The Empire Cup!
After winning the East division of the Empire Fantasy Football League during the regular season, Binkdebook has gone on to win the 1st annual Empire Cup!
Lead by 7th Round fantasy draft choice QB Carson Palmer and a very strong running attack featuring 3 top tier running backs in James, Portis and Jackson; Bink built a solid lead that Ganggreen's team could not overcome in the 4th Quarter
Grats Bink!!
Anyone interested in joining the league should post in the league forum or contact Relentless via PM to get in early. The league will have limited owner slot space and slots will be granted for 2006 on a first come first serve basis.

This Sunday 8/28/05 at 3:00PM The Empire community will hold its first annual Empire Fantasy Football Draft!
Details of the Draft, League News, Team Owner Comments and everything else you might want to know can be found in the Empire Football Forum.
All of the 10 teams in this year's league have already been claimed. Anyone interested in joining the 2006 league should post in the football forum.
